Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) Nanofibers
Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) Nanofibers
Nanofibers delivered in uncompressed, non-woven, quadrilateral matts.
Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) nanofibers are yielded through a novel AC electrospinning process. This results in extraordinary aspect ratios, consistent purity, and consistent certification of form parameters that are very difficult to to achieve using other nanofiber production methods. PVB is an amorphous thermoplastic created by condensation reaction of polyvinyl alcohol and butyraldehyde. It is a high macro porosity and high loft nanofiber with UV resistance.
