Nanofiber Manufacturing Services: Custom AC Electrospinning & Contract Manufacturing
TruSpin operates the world's first commercial-scale alternating current (AC) electrospinning facility, and every nanofiber manufacturing service on this page runs on that electrospinning system. Whether you need a custom nanofiber production run at commercial volume or a small lab-scale electrospinning batch for a research project, the same ACES process scales to meet you there, producing nanofibers at industrial electrospinning volume with no switching methods and no compromise on fiber quality.
TruSpin manufactures nanofibers for clients across insulation, advanced textiles, energy storage, life sciences, catalysis, filtration, and more, applying the same nanofiber technology to every material and industry TruSpin serves.

Our Nanofiber Manufacturing Services
Electrospinning Services
TruSpin's AC electrospinning services replace the single-jet, direct current equipment most electrospinning services providers run with a platform built to sustain many spinning jets at once. It's an electrospinning process built for scale: the difference between a lab technique and a true nanofiber manufacturing platform, and the foundation every nanofiber solution on this page is built on.
Custom Nanofiber Manufacturing
For commercial and industrial partners, TruSpin functions as a contract manufacturing partner for nanofiber production. The same electrospinning process that produces your first sample scales directly into full production volume, including roll-to-roll deposition, intrafiber additive encapsulation, and finished formats like nanofibrous twine, yarn, filtration media, and flexible thermal protection materials.
R&D & Academic Partnerships
For universities and research teams, TruSpin operates as a lab-scale electrospinning partner with a low entry cost compared to building and tuning your own equipment. Bring the material and the research question; TruSpin's engineering team tunes the electrospinning process, initiating nanofiber production fast, with a clear path to commercialization and production scale if the work moves forward.
Advantages of TruSpin's AC Electrospinning System
Faster Production
TruSpin's AC electrospinning platform has a base output of 20,000x that of a single DC spinneret, producing nanofibers at a pace conventional nanofiber manufacturers can't match.
Exotic Compositions
TruSpin specializes in inorganic and organic compositions that are difficult to produce using other nanofiber manufacturing methods.
Precise Morphology Control
TruSpin's AC system has more variables for control, enabling precise design and management of fiber diameter, alignment, porosity, and cross-linking characteristics.
High Aspect Ratios
TruSpin's continuous fiber ejection results in nanofibers with practically infinite aspect ratios.
Collection Versatility
TruSpin can implement roll-to-roll collection and deposit nanofibers directly onto substrates and mediums.
High Additive Uptake
TruSpin's AC system tolerates high levels of additives and particles suspended in precursor solutions, allowing intrafiber encapsulation to deploy customers' proprietary advanced materials.
Materials We Manufacture
TruSpin's nanofiber manufacturing capability spans more than 20 polymer, organic, and inorganic material families, and that range is the point: the same ACES platform spins multiple material types into nanofiber, so the process bends to your project instead of the other way around, unlike nanofiber manufacturers locked into a single material family. Materials below are a starting list, not a ceiling. Custom formulations, blends, and proprietary additives are worth a conversation.
Polymers
TruSpin spins polymer nanofibers including polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polycaprolactone, and polyacrylonitrile, tuned to each client's performance requirements.
Organics
On the organic side, TruSpin works with cellulose, nano-cellulose, porcine gelatin, lignin, cellulose acetate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, fibrin, laminin, vitronectin, and hyaluronic acid, frequently customized for biomedical and life sciences applications.
Inorganics
TruSpin's inorganic capabilities include alpha-aumina, gamma-alumina, spinel, titanium oxide (rutile and anatase), zirconium dioxide, silica, silicon, and carbon/graphite: exotic compositions that are difficult to produce with other electrospinning methods.
Don't see your material? TruSpin's high additive uptake and broad electrospinning technology tolerance mean most custom formulations are worth a conversation. Contact Our Team to ask.

What Our Partners Say
"I was intrigued by the potential applications that TruSpin's nanofibers could have in the alternative protein industry. After touring their facility and seeing the technology in person, I am excited to have our teams at Fractal Foods and Van Heron Labs collaborating with TruSpin to work on leveraging their nanofibers to create innovative cultivated meat scaffolding."
Dr. Rebecca Vaught, CSO, Fractal Foods & CEO, Van Heron Labs"Working with TruSpin's technical team it was clear from the initial conversations that TruSpin understands the relationship between nanomaterials, applications and nanofibers. TruSpin listened to our specific requirements and were able to quickly produce and deliver samples with our nanomaterials incorporated into the electrospun fibers. After our initial analysis of the samples, it's clear that TruSpin has unique nanofiber production capabilities, and we are excited to be partnering with them to produce novel materials for the removal of PFOA contaminants from water supplies around the world."
