Titanium (IV) Oxide nanofibers are yielded through a novel AC electrospinning process. This results in extraordinary aspect ratios, consistent purity, and consistent certification of form parameters that are very difficult to to achieve using other nanofiber production methods. Titanium dioxide nanomaterials have many known uses and, in anatase form, the nanoscale titanium dioxide is recognized for its photocatalytic activity in the presence of ultraviolet irradiation. The unique characteristics of nanofibers yielded from AC electrospinning enable new approaches to deploying this material for its many known uses.
